What We Do
Hi, I'm Nat Alkire, Owner and Director of Young Engineers Over The Mountain. As an engineer with over 13 years of experience and a local parent, I founded this venture to bring exceptional, fun, and engaging STEM learning to our Over The Mountain communities. I chose Young Engineers, a globally recognized program (founded 2008, operating in 60+ countries, and recognized by Harvard's Graduate School of Education), because it truly inspires.

We use hands-on building with specialized Master Bricks kits®, the Go Algo App, and Algobrix® to make complex concepts in engineering, mechanics, robotics, and coding exciting and accessible for ages 4 and up. Our "edutainment" approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a lifelong love for learning. Beyond kids and teens, we also offer programs for adults and seniors, plus STEM-themed parties.
